Recycled cotton yarn is the output of our closed-loop workflow, recovered cotton fiber from destroyed textiles, spun back into yarn for new production. It lets retired textiles return to use instead of being downcycled or landfilled, and is the material manufacturers can buy back through our program.

Does using recycled yarn change how a garment feels?

Reclaimed fiber is shorter than virgin cotton, so it is normally blended rather than spun alone. Blended appropriately, the difference in hand feel is not something a wearer would identify without being told.
